There is a version of the parka that has spent decades being worn by men who stopped caring, and it shows. Shapeless shell, synthetic fill that compresses after six months, hood trim that looks like it came off a carnival toy. We have no interest in those. Most parkas earn their keep on warmth alone and designers know it, which is why so many of them stop trying anywhere near the closure.
