Too many of them show up looking like they belong on a cyclist or a guy who just finished a 10K, which makes them hard to wear anywhere that isn't a trailhead. The good ones though sit in a genuinely useful place. Light enough to layer under a jacket. Warm enough to make a real difference on a cold morning. Packable when you don't need them.
