Chambray Shirts That Feel as Good as They Look

There is a version of the casual shirt that looks like an afterthought and a version that looks like a considered choice, and the difference is almost always the fabric. Chambray sits in exactly the right place. It has the relaxed feel of a worn in work shirt but enough refinement to wear tucked into chinos or half open over a t-shirt on a warm evening. Most cotton shirts peak on day one and go steadily downhill from there. The color fades badly, the collar loses its shape, and after six months it looks like something you'd wear to paint a room. Poplin Shirts That Hold Their Shape

Poplin is the fabric that sorts the men who understand shirts from the men who just own them.
