90s T Shirts Worth a Closer Look

The nineties knew something about a t-shirt that a lot of brands seem to have forgotten. The boxy fit that doesn't cling. The slightly heavier cotton that drapes instead of stretching. The graphic that has actual art direction behind it rather than a logo dropped onto a blank. There's a reason men are hunting through vintage racks and paying real money for the originals. The good news is that some brands have been paying attention and are producing new pieces with that same sensibility, none of the mustiness. We've been looking specifically at t-shirts that capture the era without becoming costume.
