Blue T Shirts That Don't Try Too Hard

Blue is the easiest color a t-shirt can be and somehow men still get it wrong. Too bright and it reads like sportswear. Too washed out and it looks like something found at the back of a drawer. The navy is too stiff, the baby blue too precious. There is a whole range of blues that just sit right, and finding them takes more effort than it should. Green T Shirts That Punch Above Their Price

Green is the color that most men get wrong before they even try it. They go too bright, too military, or too washed out, and the whole thing falls flat. The right shade of green, on a well cut tee with decent fabric weight, is one of the easiest ways to add something to a casual wardrobe without overthinking it. Olive works with almost everything. Forest green earns its place alongside navy and grey as a genuine neutral. Bottle green worn with tan or cream looks considered without being studied. Grey T Shirts Worth Adding to the Rotation

Grey does something no other t-shirt color can quite match. It sits under a blazer without competing with it, works with navy, olive, black, and tan without needing a second thought, and looks more considered than white without trying to make a statement. The problem is that most grey t-shirts are terrible. Too thin, too short, wrong shade, wrong weight, and they lose their shape after four washes. Navy T Shirts That Go With More Than You'd Think

Most men own a navy t-shirt already. The problem is they're probably not getting enough from it. Worn with grey sweatpants it reads as loungewear. Red is the one color in a man's wardrobe that most guys either avoid entirely or get completely wrong. Too bright and you look like a racing driver's sponsor. Too washed out and it just looks like you couldn't commit. The sweet spot is a red that reads as considered rather than loud, which is harder to find than it should be. We've been specifically looking at cuts with the right amount of structure through the shoulder, fabrics that don't go see-through after three washes, and hem lengths that work tucked and untucked. Crew necks mostly, because a V-neck in red asks questions nobody wants to answer.
