Bootcut Jeans That Look Sharp Without the Squeeze
The bootcut had a moment, then spent fifteen years being unfairly blamed for the crimes of its worst examples. Bad wash, cheap denim, a cut that flared more than it should. We understand the hesitation. But a well made bootcut in a dark or mid rinse is one of the more flattering silhouettes a man can wear, particularly if you're not built like a teenager. It balances the leg, works properly over a chelsea or a chukka, and sits at the waist rather than strangling it. That last part matters more than people admit. The squeeze is a real problem and most slim fit jeans solve nothing for men who actually have thighs. These pairs are cut with enough room through the seat and thigh to be comfortable without going wide enough to look like a mistake. Proper denim weight, sensible rise, finishes that hold their colour. These are bootcuts worth reconsidering.
