The regular fit blazer has a bad reputation mostly because so many of them get the proportions completely wrong. Too boxy and it looks like you borrowed it from someone larger. The kind of piece that works over a rollneck in winter or an open collar shirt in summer. Fabric matters here too. A good mid weight wool or wool blend will hold its shape through a full day in a way that cheaper constructions simply won’t. These are the ones that get it right.
