Most flannel shirts ask you to meet them halfway. The fit is boxy, the shoulders are off, the whole thing looks borrowed. You end up either living with it or rolling the sleeves up and hoping nobody looks too closely. We got tired of that compromise. The shirts in this collection are cut well enough out of the bag that you can wear them as a proper layer over a tee, tucked into trousers, or open over a henley without looking like you just grabbed something from a camping trip. The flannel weight matters here too. Too light and it looks cheap. Too heavy and it stops being wearable past October. We’ve been looking for that middle register where the fabric has real body but still moves properly and buttons through the collar without pulling. These are shirts that work with raw denim, chinos, or your favorite pair of cords. No tailor required.
