The white vest has a credibility problem, and most of it comes down to execution. Too thin and it turns see-through the moment you step outside. Too boxy and it reads like an afterthought. Wear one that fits correctly though, in a fabric with actual weight to it, and it becomes one of the more quietly useful pieces you can own. It works layered under an open shirt, worn alone on a hot day, or tucked into a well cut trouser when you want something that looks considered without announcing itself. We have been particularly focused on options where the ribbing sits flat, the shoulder seams land where they should, and the length is right for both tucking and leaving out. Nothing in here is oversized for the sake of it, and nothing is so slim it stops being practical.
