Black Fleeces That Quietly Do the Heavy Lifting
The fleece has spent years being underestimated and we think that ends here. Black specifically is where it earns its place, because a well made black fleece sits in that useful gap between a heavy knit and a proper outer layer, doing real work without announcing itself. Throw it under a waxed jacket on a cold morning. Wear it over a base layer on a weekend where you are not going anywhere near a meeting. The occasion almost does not matter. What does matter is the cut, because a fleece that fits properly around the shoulders and does not balloon at the midsection is a completely different garment to one that does not.
